MAISA Billing Policy

1. ANNUAL DUES are billed in advance by the Graduate Treasurer on or before February 15th for the current calendar year. This billing includes MAISA and ICSA Dues.  This bill is to be paid in full by March 15th or delinquent team(s) shall not compete in any college regattas until it is paid.
    
2. ENTRY FEES are billed by the Graduate Treasurer on or before February 15th, but not before the 4th Draft of the MAISA Schedule is finalized.  This billing includes MAISA and ICSA Entry Fees.  This bill is to be paid in full by March 15th or delinquent team(s) shall not compete in any college regattas until it is paid.
    
3. ADJUSTMENTS There will be no adjustments in billing. When a team's entry is scheduled and accepted, as of the 4th Draft Schedule, the fees are binding. This is the case also when a team adds on any regattas or if a regatta is canceled. Withdrawals and No Shows are obligated to pay fees incurred.
    
4. DELINQUENCIES All bills for dues and fees are payable upon receipt. Outstanding balances will result in team(s) not being permitted to schedule and compete until bills are paid.
    
5. MAISA DUES are set by the MAISA Executive Committee and reviewed regularly. Starting in 2025 dues are as follows:
   1. $250.00 per year for Tier 1 Member schools
   2. $250.00 per year for Tier 2 Member schools
   3. $110.00 per year for Tier 3 Member schools
       
6. MAISA ENTRY FEES are set by the MAISA Executive Committee and reviewed regularly. Starting in 2025 fees are as follows:
   1. $20.00 for Fundamental, Regional, Cross Regional, and Conference Championships.  Teams which qualify for events past the elimination series are not billed for those events.
   2. $35.00 for Kennedy Cup and MacMillan Cup.
       
7. MAISA OPEN TEAM RACE LEAGUE FEES are set by the MAISA Executive Committee and reviewed regularly. For 2025 fees are as follows:
   1. $18,000 divided by the number of teams entered in the TRL.
       
8. MAISA WOMEN’S TEAM RACE CHAMPIONSHIP is set by the MAISA Executive Committee and reviewed regularly. For 2025 fees are as follows:
   1. $2,000 divided by the number of teams entered in the event.
       
9. MAISA ANNUAL DUES AND ENTRY FEES INCREASE are set by the MAISA Executive Committee and reviewed regularly.  Beginning in 2025, the annual increase is set at 3%.
